Hi, I'm REILLY.

I hail from the West. I now live in New York.

I speak French, advertising, and all things journalistic.

I've worked as a reporter, copywriter, strategist, account manager, and photographer.

I'm a multi-instrumentalist and played music   full-time, professionally.

I've co-written and recorded three albums, including one rock opera.

I've backpacked through Europe, the Middle East, and Central America, and I'm quite fond of tweed.

Columbia Sportswear

The University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication faculty chose me to act as the campaign manager on an advertising campaign for Columbia Sportswear. Working with the creative team, I led the development of a cohesive campaign, acted as a liaison between the client and creatives, scheduled and documented team workflow, collaborated with research, ensured deadlines were met, handled personnel problems, and lead the final pitch. BRITT FESTIVAL

Earth Wind and Fire, Ben Harper, Huey Lewis and the News... these are among the acts I covered as the marketing intern for the Britt Festival in Southern Oregon. I interviewed artists, photographed events, and managed the festival's social media presence and blog. Click below for a sampling of my articles.

DAILY EMERALD

Chasing news stories and covering the crime beat of Eugene, Oregon were my day-to-day responsibilities as a news reporter for the Daily Emerald. It included being in daily phone contact with the Eugene Police Department while pitching news stories to my editor. A particular interest of mine was the opportunity to explore and report on the political inclinations of the University community. Click below for a sampling of my articles.

MUSIC Projects

I am a pianist, drummer, singer, songwriter, and (these days) the occasional performer. I have played music full-time professionally, been the member of house bands for two clubs, and composed the music and lyrics for the recording and co-production of three original albums.

Häus Owen

With a fondness for the grit of old fashioned rock and roll and the sheen of 80's gloss, Häus Owen ceaselessly attempts to reconcile these stylistic elements with their core value: if something is worth doing, it's worth overdoing... especially guitar solos.

Homer and the minotaurs

Odysseus lived the epic; we wrote the rock opera. Pioneering the musical genre of Homeric rock and roll, the band's musical passions mirror our love of the classical world of antiquity.
